PRE-PROFESSIONAL COMPANY: AUDITION OR INVITATION ONLY, AGES 10+.
Pre-Professional Performing Company Students are REQUIRED to have a 1-2 hour weekly private lesson. This company level is meant for students who wish to attend ADC-IBC, YOUTH AMERICA GRAND PRIX, UBC. These students also have the option to attend lower level competitions or conventions if they’d like.

2 additional hours of conditioning per week is required (online or with a personal trainer).
Must pass VAB’s mid-year & final exam with an 85% or higher.
Required to have 1 new pair of pointe shoes per month (if applicable)
Saturday Open Ballet Technique & Variations included!
Must be fully enrolled in the VAB Class Program.
HIGH COMMITMENT LEVEL REQUIRED.
(3) or more no-shows/cancellations, poor work ethic, poor behavior or inconsistency will result in your private lesson spot and company level being reduced or revoked.

BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE PERFORMING COMPANY: INVITATION OR REQUEST, Ages 6+. Beginner & Intermediate Performing Company Students are REQUIRED to have a 1 hour bi-weekly private lesson. (Students who wish to attend beginner & intermediate competitions or conventions). (3) or more no-shows/cancellations, poor work ethic, poor behavior or inconsistency will result in your private lesson spot and company level being reduced or revoked. These students may be invited to compete at an upper level, ballet focused competition if their progress is exceptional.

REQUIRED to have a 1 hour bi-weekly private lesson or more.
Must pass VAB’s mid-year and final exam with a 60% or higher.
Saturday Open Ballet Technique & Variations included!
Must be fully enrolled in the VAB Class Program.

NON-COMPETITIVE PERFORMING COMPANY:
Non-Competitive Company Students are REQUIRED to have 1 monthly 1-2 hour private lesson (Students who wish to receive extra training, perform a solo at the season end gala or simply work towards becoming a competition performer or dance professional in the future). (3) or more no-shows/cancellations, poor work ethic, poor behavior or inconsistency will result in your private lesson spot and company level being reduced or revoked. This company level is meant for young or entry level students who want to take ballet more seriously.

REQUIRED to have a 1 or 2 hour monthly private lesson.
MUST PASS BOTH MID-YEAR & FINAL EXAM WITH A 50% OR HIGHER.
Saturday Open Ballet Technique & Variations included!
Must be fully enrolled in the VAB Class Program.

CHOREOGRAPHY & SETTING FEE:

(IN ADDITION TO PRIVATE LESSONS - CHOREOGRAPHY IS NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR TUITION OR PRIVATE LESSON FEES)

$400.00 PER CONTEMPORARY CHOREOGRAPHY WITH MISS SUMMER.
(4 hours of choreography setting time, $60.00 per hour for additional setting time)

(No choreography fee with Miss Summer, $60.00 per hour for setting & cleaning)

Please note: If you have a guest choreographer set your solo, please be aware that they set their own prices! VAB makes nothing from the fee your choreographer charges you. We also do not profit from the private lessons that you do with the choreographer after the dance is set to work on cleaning or fine tuning the piece. With that said, please be prepared to pay an additional $30.00 EACH HOUR that Miss Summer is with you while you work with your choreographer, OR a $25.00 per hour studio rental fee to use the studio and work with the choreographer by yourself. Please remember that this fee will be in addition to whatever the choreographer decides to charge you hourly for private lessons. This fee will help cover the cost of increased utilities due to the extra time in the studio.
