GIRLS UNIFORM:-VAB Approved Uniform: Wear Moi BALLERINE IN SOLID BLACK ONLY.-Pink tights or flesh tone tights for ballet class.-Pink or flesh tone canvas ballet shoes with a split sole and elastic strap. Sewn ribbons are required for Levels 1, 1.5 & 2.-Pointe shoes must be approved by your class instructor prior to purchasing or sewing ribbons and elastic.-Hair in a bun or similar style; short hair should be pulled back away from the face. Hairspray/hair pins -should be used to put up hair!-A scrunchie wrapped around a messy bun is not appropriate.-Black, pink or no tights for contemporary.-Black or flesh tone socks for contemporary.-Shorts or pants may be worn for contemporary.

BOYS UNIFORM:-Canvas split-sole black or white ballet shoes-Black jazz pants, leggings, biker shorts or tights-A dance belt may be needed-Black, Gray or white t-shirt, tank top or boys leotard

PRE-BALLET DRESS CODE: Please note that pre-ballet uniform guidelines are more relaxed, girls are required to wear a black or pink leotard but are not required to wear tights. Ballet shoes are preferred for both girls and boys, white socks may be used in place of dance shoes - especially if they have had a growth spurt and have not gotten new shoes yet. The same applies to leotards, if they are growing and only have a printed leotard or other activewear to use for a couple lessons, we will be understanding. Long hair must be pulled back in a bun. Short hair may be worn in a ponytail if unable to style in a bun. We suggest placing their bun at the top of their head rather than the middle/ low - low buns tend to make them uncomfortable when we lay on the floor for exercise.
